Polyvinyl chloride (PVC hard)
very rigid, good breaking resistance
good transparency
resistant to water, aqueous solutions, alcohols and oils
slight gas permeability, e.g. to oxygen
adequate water vapour resistance in most cases
LPDE, HPDE, PVC hard and PETG are physiologically inert and are suitable for the
packaging and storage of foodstuffs. They fulfil the valid German regulations
and EC Directive 90/128 together with the corresponding supplements EEC 92/39,
93/9 and 95/3.
